2025 Adult Summer Reading Challenge
The Rules are simple:
- Come into the Library to pick up your summer reading game card beginning on June 21st.
- When you finish reading or listening to a book, write the title and author in the spaces provided.
- Stop by the reference desk and get your cards stamped by the Librarian.
- Once you’ve read and have 4 book stamps you’ll take home a GCPL Watering Can Grow Kit courtesy of Friends of the Gold Coast Library.
The prizes don’t stop there! Rate and review the books you’ve read and be entered into our weekly raffles for prizes generously donated by local businesses.

Teen Summer Reading Program
For Rising Grades 6-12 (ages 12-18)
Summer Reading Booklet due by Saturday, Aug. 30, by drop-off or email
Sign up for the teen summer reading program and receive a gift bag and a booklet. There will be two Reading Challenges in your booklet. You can do both OR choose one. Instructions will be provided and small prizes will be available to win all summer long.
Submit your booklet to the Gold Coast Library by Saturday, Aug. 30, to enter into the grand prize raffle to win a Summer Reading Basket. If you can’t make it to the library before the deadline, take a picture of your booklet and send it via email to Teen Librarian Alex at acivorelli@goldcoastlibrary.

Hey, Kids! Register for the 2025 Summer Reading Club! Simply select the books YOU want to read and report your reading activity to the Librarian each week to receive prizes! It’s Fun…It’s Reading…It’s Summer Reading!
For infants toddlers and preschoolers: The Color Our World Read-to-Me Kids Club!
This program is a fun way to introduce reading to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Parents, grandparents and caregivers read to their children each week, and visit the libraries Summer Reading page each week to report on their books and receive a virtual prize!
