Setting Up Alerts

Receive text messages indicating when reserves are ready to be picked up and when items are approaching their due dates. Standard messaging rates apply.

1.   Open the My Library Card page (a button to the My Library Card page is also available on the top of every page of our website and on the ALIS/Encore site, labeled My Account).
2.   Enter your 14-digit Gold Coast Public library card barcode number (without spaces) and your PIN (see above).
3.   Click on the Edit Account button.
4.   Enter your Mobile Phone Number.
5.   Under the Mobile Alerts via SMS heading, select the Click to opt in option.
6.   Read all terms and conditions and select Opt In.
