K-5 Battle of the Books! Glen Head Elementary vs. Glenwood Landing!
Reporting begins Monday, June 1st and ends Monday, August 31st
Read any books of your choice throughout the summer. Share your thoughts about the book. There will be different virtual prizes offered when you complete each level of the program! All the books that you read will be totaled weekly and put on your schools’ tally sheet. The school with the most books read will win a trophy to be kept on display for the 2020-2021 school year. In addition, Friends of the Gold Coast Library will be making a donation to a local animal shelter in the winning school’s name. By partnering with the Friends of the Gold Coast Library you’re not only reading but also doing something good for your community. Be a hero now more than ever.

These are fun activities that use to be held in the library but are now completely virtual. 2020 Bookmark contest, Distance Design Contest, Guess the Book Quote, Guessing Jar. These activities will be located in the mission tab after you log in to readsquared. Complete activities to be entered to win prizes!
